Case study: TGH

The brief
The client approached Blue Prawn to create a name and identity for their new venture which is an online store offering a cracking collection of innovative, high-quality, sustainable products for the home, from British designers. The brief was to create a striking brand that reflected the 'eco' nature of the business but also the client's personality. The brand was to be brought through into a bespoke online store that would be fully updatable by the client and showcase both the products and their designers.
The result
Blue Prawn generated the name for the business, creating The Greenhaus. The reasoning being playing on the design school feel of the Bauhaus institution whilst also strongly representing the 'eco' nature of the business. These elements were then brought through to the logo through the use of the font and colourways. We also create a stamp 'house' icon that would be used to support the logo throughout online and offline collateral. The brand was then implemented throughout all corporate customer facing material and marketing collateral.
The website is a cracking example of how we like to do things differently. The structure of the site was built around the 'house' icon with the navigation fitting into the roof rafters leading to a striking site with high stand out appeal whilst being easy to navigate for the user.
The results have been extremely successful and has lead to substantial recognition from the press. This combined with strategic marketing has resulted in the client aquiring a range of high profile clients. The simplicity of the content management system has allowed the client to significantly increase the products on the site without incurring any expense, the testimonial speaks for itself!
